Hello ACA,

I’m Isabelle and I’m reporting to you live today on this grim October morning. This broadcast won’t be like any other we’ve had before, since unfortunately today I’ll be sharing with you a crime that has occured in our very own little community. More specifically, a kidnapping.

The victim, a male by the name of Jack, is described as being five paws and three claws in height. He is reported as having an orange head in the shape of a pumpkin, and could typically be seen wearing an outfit consisting of a long purple robe, black gloves, and black boots. He is known by himself and those who love him as the Czar or King of Halloween. Those who knew him mentioned that he would often go out late at night. It is suspected that he was kidnapped right around midnight on the dawn of October 1st.

He was last seen in front of The Roost café, where we actually have a witness that claims to have spoken to Jack that night, left the scene, and then returned shortly later to see Jack being dragged away by a mysterious figure. The witness will not be named at this time for their own protection.

In an exclusive interview, police officers Copper and Booker have given us details on the scene of the crime, in the hopes that someone out there will see this and be able to turn in any information on the whereabouts of Jack.

The perpetrator knew what they were doing and was clearly careful to leave behind as little evidence as possible. However, their perfect crime was not so perfect, and we do have a series of clues that we may be able to use against them.

1. Our largest clue, thanks to an anonymous tip, is that the kidnapper is, without a doubt, an ACA Curator or Leader... Which one exactly, is what we have yet to find out.

2. They must have a reasonable motive: perhaps someone who isn’t too fond of Halloween, or another motive altogether…? Keep an eye out for suspicious behavior of any sort.

3. The criminal must be someone who is most often active at night, as the crime occured around midnight, when most regular folks would be asleep.

4. A black and purple glove was found lost in the tall grass around The Roost: police believe that the perpetrator may have lost it in a scuffle with Jack.

5. Boot prints were found in the mud around the café. Two pairs: one clearly belonging to Jack, and another unknown pair mixed in.

6. A single strand of brown hair had caught onto a branch at the crime scene.

7. A black and silver button lay lost on the ground.

8. A clothing thread lay trampled in the mud.

9. The trash can outside the café contained chocolate candy wrappers, cheesy cracker crumbs, and a cup of tea, while a half-full cup of coffee sat on the window’s ledge, seemingly forgotten there. It is uncertain which of the items belonged to the kidnapper, but at least one surely did.

10. Smells of smoke, citrus, baked sweets, and of course coffee, hung around the outside of The Roost.

The ideal offender will be one who fits each of these clues beyond a reasonable doubt - this means that we should have good reason to believe that EVERY single clue matches them. We can’t be uncertain about even a single clue, or else we won’t be able to convict them! Please be sure to think hard on your answer and gather as much evidence as possible before reporting it, so that we can be right on our first attempt!

This is where YOU come in, ACA! We don’t have the resources to solve a crime of this scale on our own, and we will be relying on the goodwill of any of our regular citizens who may have come across any leads in Jack’s case to aid us in solving it… Please, help us bring Jack home safely!

You may find clues on the Admin’s personal profiles, such as within their walls and posts, as well as on the Admin group profile and its wall and posts. Some clues may take some scrolling to find as they may be hidden farther down, but the times of posting should all be within the past day or so (around October 2nd-3rd), so don’t bother looking for clues older than that!

Once you think you’ve got your answer, please report it to myself, Isabelle, through private messages here on the ACA Admins account. You will need to send me the name of who you believe committed the crime, as well as write out a small report linking all 10 of the clues to our suspect. I can’t present it to the police without evidence, of course! Once again, you should find proof that our culprit matches each and every clue!

Please keep in mind that I will NOT be letting you know whether your report was correct until the police investigation is completed on October 31st! I’d also prefer that you didn’t share any answers or clues found with other people, as in order to have a fair trial, we need everyone to be able to form their own opinion without being clouded by others’ bias!

You are allowed to make multiple guesses, but try your very best to gather as much evidence as possible so that you can get the answer right on your first try, as depending on which placing you manage to get the correct answer in, your rewards will vary! Yes, of course there will be rewards for finding our dear Jack! More on that below!

As previously mentioned, we are absolutely sure that the culprit is an ACA Curator or Leader! Copper and Booker have been kind enough to release these confidential suspect files to us, so please take a good look at them to learn who we’re up against!

There will, of course, be rewards in place for whoever can report the correct criminal to us, so that we may rescue Jack!

If you can get the answer right on your FIRST try, you will get:

• A “Nook Holmes” custom title on your profile!

• 400 ACA Tokens!

If you can get the answer right on your SECOND try, you will get:

• 300 ACA Tokens!

If you can get the answer right on your THIRD try, you will get:

• 200 ACA Tokens!

If you can get the answer right on your FOURTH OR SUBSEQUENT try, you will get:

• 100 ACA Tokens!

Attempts must show genuine effort with an explanation/evidence as to why you think an Admin committed the crime: random guesses just for the sake of getting Tokens will not be counted.

There will also be an extra special reward in place for the first person OVERALL to solve the mystery! If you find the correct answer and show sufficient evidence before anybody else does, you will receive:

• A one month Nintendo Switch Online code!

• 500 Amino Coins!

• 100 NMT!

I’m sure that together, we can get to the bottom of this, ACA! I believe that someone out there will have what it takes to find Jack and bring him home safely before Halloween!

Allow me to quickly summarize everything once more:

• Search the Admins’ group and personal profiles for clues to figure out who kidnapped Jack!

• You may have to look at the comments of some very old posts for certain clues!

• Disregard timezones, all clues are provided within comments, not based on real-time events!

• Do not share clues or answers with other people!

• Report all evidence to Isabelle through private messages on this profile!

• Make as many guesses as you’d like, but you won’t be told whether you were correct until the event is over, and you will earn prizes based on which placing you made your guesses in!

• The event will last until October 31st!

The Admins will be hosting our first ever movie night at the end of October!
