Hello, everyone! I saw the #flowercrown challenge and already knew what I wanted to do!! So, here's my sona! ...Of course. Since my sona is supposed to literally be, well, ME, I went with the flower that I've always said I loved irl; roses. Since I was young and up until just recently, my family had a rose bush out front. I've always loved this rose bush -- Me and my mom would snip bloomed roses from it in the spring for me to give to my teachers in Elementary School to show our love and appreciation. Even today, now as a grown woman, I still say I love roses.

Roses are beautiful, and could mean a lot of things. Love, passion, romance... However, there are other colors of roses besides red, and they have different meanings. For this reason, I decided to make two versions of this drawing. In the second one, she is wearing a flower crown that consists of pink and white roses. Light pink roses are associated with gentleness, grace, and joy, while white ones can be associated with purity and innocence. For those who do not know, my sona, Gabby, is often bubbly and sweet, and would be one you would say wouldn't want to hurt a fly, or make any wrong moves. This is why I chose these two colors for the alternate version.

During the time of me drawing, I began to not like it much... however, after completing the artwork, I think it's alright.
