My Mascot Entry!

I decided to participate in the Mascot Challenge, and this was the result! I designed this character while I was at school since we had a field day. I changed some elements of the character in my final piece, like changing it from a bear to a red panda.

I chose to give her the catchphrase "Okie", because it's a word that I frequently use on this amino

The Designing of Léfia

Léfia was originally going to be a bear villager, but I later on changed it to a red panda. I wanted my villager to be as original as possible, and that's why I made the animal switch. Her character design is heavily inspired by nature, with the leaves symbolizing the iconic logo. The yellow and green of the outfit show the main colors of the game. I chose to make one of the eyes purple to symbolize the current color of the amino page. My friend actually named this character due to my inability of coming up with a good name. I think this name gives the character a classy flair.

Her Personality

Léfia is a normal type villager. I chose this personality for her because of her charming and cute looks. As a normal type villager she gets along with most other villagers, something a person that is a part of this amino should be able to do. Normal villagers are known to be very kind, and this kindness is also reflected in ACA.

She is always trying to help people by giving them items they want and telling them when a dreamie of theirs is moving out of a town. She loves to read the community guidelines so she knows what is right and what is wrong. Léfia wants to make sure this community is always nice, so knowing the guidelines helps her to keep everyone on track. She's always polite when talking to people of the community.

Her Home

After seeing so many wonderful entries, I decided that I would improve mine by designing a house for Léfia! I had so much fun making this, and here is the official tour!

The first room I designed was her main room/reading room! I made this a cozy room with basket chairs, a fireplace, and lots of books, just like she likes it! I dressed as Léfia in Happy Home Designer to take this little photoshoot!

In the top right corner of the room we have the reading area, a cozy place for her to sit, relax, and enjoy a good book! I remodeled the basket chairs to be a red color and the pillow to be green to match her color scheme!

The next area is her bookshelf area! This is where all of her favorite books are stored, and she comes here everyday to pick a book to read. She has so many favorites, it's hard for her to decide on what to read!

The last part of the room we get a close up on is her writing desk! Much like she loves reading books, she loves writing them too! She loves getting caught up that writing mood, and she'll sometimes spend a whole night just writing away!

Next we have her bedroom! She has a bunk bed in her room for guests when they come over, and a world map to mark all the places she's been to!

The final area is her yard! I decorated this with lots of flowers and a path made out of clovers! There is even a spring in the corner of her yard, and I think it really ties together the peacefulness of her house!

Conclusion

The Animal Crossing Amino is a wonderful place to be in. I've only been here for two months and I already feel welcome! I hope this mascot can represent the community well, and that ACA has a wonderful future!
