Hi ZA!!

For this week’s Monday Spotlight, I picked this super fun and creative blog featuring a Zelda and Link cosplay from the CD-i games! I was immediately drawn to it not just because of the character choice (which is already such a fun throwback), but because of how much personality and care went into the whole post. The cosplayers made both costumes for under $20 each using mostly thrifted and repurposed pieces, and the final result looks amazing, and super true to the vibes of the CD-i era. You can really tell how much thought went into the little details, like the handmade tiara, functional belt buckle, and custom trim.

OYYY ZA!! Sage here, with my feature for TMS! Today’s shoutout goes out to Marchium, for their amazing drawing they did for their 18th birthday! Their sona is freaking awesome, and the colors are SPOT ON! I don’t think I’ve ever featured them before, even though I seriously should have. Even though it’s a quick doodle, it’s still amazing, and they definitely deserve the feature and recognition they are getting for this masterpiece! Also, congratulations on being 18, this feature is kinda a birthday present for you too.. mostly because I love the art, your art is beautiful, and I can tell you’ll do great things in your adult life. Happy birthday to YOU!! Let’s just hope there were no reasons to get a sword, and no sisters stolen! (Get the reference lol) Anyways congrats again on the feature!!

Hullo lovelies!! This week, I wanted to highlight this amazing blog by the one and only Gadeva Dredhauk!!

For one, I adore the details in the illustration -- the facial expression is absolutely perfect -- and I also really like how these details don't detract from the simplicity of the piece. It's a delicate balance, but it's one this piece does really well. Not only that, but the accompanying short story is absolutely hilarious. I'm not very familiar with Gadeva as a character, but reading this short story made me want to learn more! The descriptions of the festival itself were also executed extremely well, especially with how overwhelming everything was. Overall, this blog is incredibly solid, and I would highly recommend you check it out if you haven't yet!!

We celebrated Marchium's birthday in this TMS, but today (June 30th) is the birthday of one of our staff members! The first person to correctly identify the birthday buddy will receive a rupee!!

Please note that staff, members who help with the TMS, and members who are featured in the TMS are not eligible for the rupee.
