What’s your favorite summer activity?

this is going to sound stupid but i love absolutely roasting in the sun like a lizard. is it bad for my skin? definitely. will i keep doing it? also definitely. i’ve only gotten sunburnt once.. i will keep testing my luck !! i went to the beach with some friends last week and of course i got in the water for a bit but most of my time was spent loafing on the sand. (not to dox myself/j but texas beaches.. ngl kinda sad looking.. its giving poop water)

What are you most excited about this season?

:D I’m actually studying abroad in japan this summer (jfc i’m leaving in less than a week..) so i’ve got a lot to look forward too!! i’ve been studying japanese at my university for 3 years now but im really looking forward to actually improving and using my (nonexistent) language skills !! really wanna try warabi mochi too lololol

What’s your favorite carnival/summer treat?

BLUE

GIVE ME THE OTTER POPS !! the blue ones. but like carnival/festival type stuff.. any variation of lemonade. strawberry lemonade? yes? frozen lemonade? also yes. probably getting a little to niche with this one but prickly pear lemonade. PLEASE. shaved ice is also tasty (blue coconut..)

What’s the first thing you would do when you enter the carnival?

food stalls. i am definitely a snacker give me all the snacks (so i can then analyze and come to the conclusion that it’s cheaper to make at home 🥀) no but seriously i love trying new stuff and sharing food at carnival/festivals with friends !! also any sort of musical performances are cool too!! i’d definitely flock to those!! (with my snacks)

Where in Hyrule would you want to visit during the summer?

PLEASE TAKE ME TO LURELIN VILLAGE!! i wanna see a pretty beach like that.. sip my little coconut water and eat seafood lolol #overtourism also i’d definitely wanna fish too !!

OC TIME

now for some unsolicited, nonsensical oc content!! i don’t think i’ve explicitly mentioned it but all my ocs are homies with each other (more or less..). this has nothing to do with any of the like.. listed/suggested questions.. but i saw “fun trivia” and “your character” and ive had this thought in the back of my brain for a millennia so it is getting gently placed here.

anyway, any good carnival needs food, and lilith (she/her) and sylvain (any pronouns) would definitely run a food stall together!! Lilith started doing this yearly and basically begged sylvain to join her shortly after they became friends. having a food stall is a ton of work !! and probably pretty expensive to rent space.. lilith would’ve asked her girlfriend eden for help but.. her anti social personality is not good for customers!! anyway, lilith specializes in baked goods, and at an event like this she focuses her attention on hand held desserts— specifically fruit filled turnovers/hand pies !!

and at first sylvain was just a helper but lilith convinced them that they needed to start selling his beef and salmon jerky (among other dried/dehydrated meats) (this probably sounds so random.. and it is.. but just go with it).

my friend put me on to salmon jerky (NOT SMOKED SALMON.. although smoked salmon is still very tasty) and ts is so good..

he picked up the skill while traveling around hyrule.. dried foods like this are just the easiest and safest food to travel with.. and lilith adores his salmon!! she doesn’t really have an opinion on sylvain’s other stuffs.. she’s (selectively..) pescatarian but eden, saiken and phichit all gave it a thumbs up !! it might seem like a weird combo (because it is), but lilith and sylvain’s shared food stall has something for everyone, sweet and salty !! and since both are the type of foods that should be prepared in advanced there’s no flustered commotion/cooking/cross contamination during the carnival !! also slightly unrelated but, the month(s) leading up to the carnival, while sylvain is prepping/drying all his stuff, they lowkey reek of meat and fish and it definitely gives her partners the ick lmao.

sorry this idea has been lingering in the back of my head for forever and now seemed like the perfect time to throw it out into the void lolol.

if you made it this far and read even a fraction of whatever nonsense i wrote u deserve one of lilith’s turnovers !! (or a cookie or any dessert !!) i’ll toss over some proof for my art and then go off and evaporate again 🫡
