The Postman is... well... a postman. He works for a Post Office and takes his job very seriously. He tries his hardest to use his super speed to deliver letters and postcards to those who are in need of it. Since he takes his job so seriously, he is not one to stop and chit chat with passers-by.

I believe that the Postman would be an ISTJ because ISTJ personalities tend to be independent and focus on the tasks that are assigned to them. ISTJs tend to give their all into their duty, and they are reliable as well as systematic. Around 66% of ISTJs are males, so it wouldn't be uncommon for him to be one. I believe he fits well into this personality type.

To my knowledge, the Postman has no family. He does have relations with those he delivers mail to, such as Link.

He does have two helpers in the Minish Cap who help him run the Post Office, Stamp and Marcy. He is also overseen by his boss, the Postmaster.

He also does happen to have a counterpart. This counterpart is known as the Running Man.

III: Physical Appearance

The Postman's appearance seems to have a common theme within the different games: a rabbit. He has a rabbit symbol on his athletic one piece outfit and on his postal cap. In majority of the games the Postman wears a red cap, a white one piece, a backpack, and sandals. In Twilight Princess, he is also seen with a large flag that is attached to his backpack. He also happens to have wings in Phantom Hourglass and is very similar to that of a Rito.

IV: Importance

The Postman has a good importance in many of the LoZ games. These games include Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages, Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks.

Majora's Mask:

The Postman is seen walking around Clock Town and doing his job. He does not chat very much when he is on duty, as he takes his job extremely seriously. He wishes to be free of the employment from the Postal Office, and Link can provide him with that freedom. He is also part of a side quest to reunite Anju and Kafei.

Oracle of Ages:

In the OoA, the Postman is seen living in Lynna Village. His main purpose is to be a part of the trading system inside of the game, and he is able to provide Link with a Stationery.

The Minish Cap:

The Postman delivers letters around Hyrule in TMC. He owns the Post Office with his two helpers, Stamp and Marcy.

Twilight Princess:

The Postman has a more of an appearance in this game than in others. He does not have any mailboxes to deliver to, so he runs across Hyrule Field in order to deliver letters to people, such as Link. He is also seen in different parts of Hyrule, such as Ordon Ranch, Zora's Domain, Telma's Bar, Elde Inn, and the Cave of Ordeals.

Phantom Hourglass:

In the Phantom Hourglass, the Postman is equipped with wings to be able to fly from island to island to be able to deliver letters. If Link happens to come across a mailbox that appears to be moving, the Postman will appear and read a letter addressed to Link aloud.

Spirit Tracks:

In ST the Postman still delivers letters in this game, and like nearly every other game he is in. If there is a moving mailbox, he will appear to give Link his letter.

Oh boy did it take me hours to do the Postman. It was a fun challenge, though! I put in a lot of research into this one because I knew he was such a minor character, but I am satisfied with the results.
