information about what flashy

content is, and what’s not allowed

in our community.

Flashy, or fast moving, content is referred to as strobing, brightly colored, and quick movements. Something that could hurt your eyes if you look at it for too long.

Keep in mind that not everything moving is considered fast, or flashy. GIFs and stickers that have some movement is okay, but not movement that’s rapidly fast or strobing. You can have moving GIFs in profiles, chats, and posts; but if they are considered too fast or flashy- your content will be disabled by our moderators.

Examples of what’s prohibited could include:

Black and white, or flashy color, strobing movements; fast paced glitching movements; fast spinning movements; quick cut scenes, or very quick colorful animation.

Flashy content is prohibited anywhere in our community. That includes profile pictures, gallery images, bios, and background images; chatrooms; and posts. Like stated previously, anything that’s too fast or flashy will be disabled.

Flashy content isn’t allowed in our community due to the safety of some of our staff, and our community members. Rapidly fast moving images or flashy content can hurt and/or damage your eyes and give you, standard to severe, headaches; or in some cases, someone could potentially have health issues or epilepsy and could cause seizures.

It is important to us that everyone is safe and comfortable in our community.

All content that is considered fast or flashy is subject to our moderator’s discretion. All of our moderators also ask for second opinions when unsure to disable. This is not meant for members to feel targeted when their content is disabled. Each moderator hold the responsibility and decision whether content is considered flashy, or not.

If your content has been hidden or disabled, and you feel it’s unjustified, please contact a leader regarding it.
