So, I finally got Blood Covered on my Switch! As some of you may know, it was released on the Japanese E-Shop on 2/21/21, but has yet to be released in any other shops. However, it does have English support, so here's a guide on how I got Blood Covered on my Switch!

1) Create a Japanese E-Shop Account
This is the easy part!
I used this as a guide on how to set up an account, but I'll simplify it here for you!
Firstly, you want to go to accounts.nintendo.com and create a new account with a different email than your default.
Make sure you set the region to Japan to access the Japanese E-Shop!

2) Create a new profile on your Switch and link the new account to this profile!
(I named mine JP so I'd remember that it was the Japanese E-Shop!)
You can do this while you're setting up the account, or in the System Settings menu under the Users tab.
You'll get an email with a 4-digit code so that you'll be able to sign in on your Switch, so put that in and you're set!
3) Find Blood Covered on the E-Shop
This is.. where it starts getting difficult. As expected, the Japanese E-Shop is all in Japanese, so it will be difficult to find. I managed to circumvent this by finding it on Google, logging in to the E-Shop website, and adding it to my favorites from there!
Here is the link to save you a lot of trouble!
4) Yen!
Unsurprisingly, the Japanese E-Shop only takes Yen as it's currency. Blood Covered costs 2970 Yen (~$30 US), but you need to find a way to get this currency!
How I did this was by buying a 3000 Yen E-Shop card through EBay. While there are other options here, I'm 17 and don't have a credit card, so EBay was my only real option.
Here is a link to the Card that I bought! It took me ~4 days to get, and I got the code through my email. You can also get it delivered to you, but that could take anywhere from 2-3 weeks.
After tax, for me, it was ~$37 US. ($30 for the card, $5 profit for the seller, and ~$2 in tax)
I could not buy this with a gift card! I had to borrow my guardian's credit card and then pay her back later!
Adding the Funds and Downloading!
Adding the funds is pretty self explanatory! The location to add the card is the same as in the English store, and if you added Blood Covered to your Wishlist through the Nintendo website, it should be on your Wishlist on your Switch!
All you have to do now is hit the download button, wait for the game to download, and you should have it in your library!
Have fun, and I hope this helps!

Im just waiting for this to come to steam. I dont really like the version of the first game on steam so I hope we can get the actual remake on the pc
That's completely fair! I was just super impatient and they have a habit of waiting, like, a year before releasing a NA version (that I've noticed anyways), so I didn't want to wait that long
Thanks so much for this! Just got it downloading now. I've only ever played the PC (Steam) version of Blood Covered so this will be a new experience for me.
If you have a PayPal account or credit card or similar you can also buy vouchers for the JP E-shop on sites like PlayAsia (which is what I did).
I got my Japanese eShop gift card through Playasia when I got the game for my Switch. Just thought that was an alternative worth bringing up.
