It’s that time of the year where we need to say goodbye. 2024 was full of new experiences for both myself and the community, from getting promoted to a curator and then to a leader within a few months, to having ACAs first global frame and bubble event.

It’s certainly been a wild year, so let’s take a look at everything that’s happened along with some of my goals for animal crossing in the new year!

Let’s start by taking a look at all of the challenges I participated in here on ACA this year!

•The first challenge was the Zelda Amino Collab where I placed 1st for the custom design challenge!

•I participated in the Spring Theme Challenge and I came 3rd place, which is great considering all of the amazing entries.

•The hardest challenge this year was the May Calendar Challenge, I participated every day which was great fun but so much work. But it was definitely worth it.

•Then the June Calendar Challenge was posted and I just had to participate.

•ACA then had a collab with the Minecraft Amino, which I had loads of fun participating in, here’s my entry!

•We also had the Mascot Sticker Challenge which was very fun to participate in.

•Spooky season finally arrived and the Admins created a Trick or Treat Event, I think this might have been my favourite event of the year :eyes:

•It was then time to say Goodbye to Pocket Camp, which was a very bitter sweet challenge, but it’s always nice to appreciate the past.

•Not too long after that, I helped out Clove with her Candy Shop Challenge.

•After all of that, the last blog and challenge of 2024 was my Winter Theme Entry, and I came 2nd which was surprising because all of the entries were incredible this year!

That was all of the challenges I entered during 2024, I loved participating in every single one of them, and I look forward to participating in more in 2025.

Our Global Frame and Bubble Event!

In September of 2024, ACA had their first frame and bubble event ever! And I was blessed with the role of a co-organiser for planning the event. It was an amazing experience to be part of, and it brought loads of new members and animal crossing fans into our community.

We are so thankful to everyone who joined us and participated in the event, hopefully it won’t be the last.

2024 on ACA has been a great adventure. I was promoted to a Curator on the Admins Team on the 1st of February, and on the 5th of May I was promoted to being a Leader, I have absolutely LOVED my time on the admin team, and would highly recommend applying to join us the next time our Curator Applications open.

I was also asked by the amazing Angel to help out and get Acorns up and going again.

As well as joining new groups and taking new steps, I Stepped down from the Welcoming Committee on the 26th of August, after over 3 years of being with the group. I loved my experience welcoming new members into our community, and I definitely recommend applying to join them!

Animal Crossing Goals for 2025

Allllll the way back in 2023, I made it my goal to finally complete the museum on Neverland during 2024…..well…..let’s just say I’M CLOSE….. I wanted to catch this one bug and I couldn’t catch it so I gave up BUT 2025 WILL BE THE YEAR.

If it comes to 2026 and I still haven’t finished my museum, please shout at me…

I was also pretty surprised when the Nintendo year in review came out, I only had 22 hours on Animal Crossing for the whole of 2024 which is probably a good thing but I hope to have way more in 2025. I was rarely on Animal Crossing this year after falling out with that bug I couldn’t catch….
